Look out for the February 2007 issue of IF (Inside Film) Magazine for a cover story about Amiel and his current slate of documentary and feature film projects.

Amiel is currently preparing for a trip to Rotterdam International Film Festival where he will accompany his producer Philippa Campey who is taking part in the Cinemart producers' Lab. From there Amiel will travel to the US to complete shooting his feature documentary about Ben Lee "Catch My Disease".

Amiel's latest short film On the Other Ocean had its World Premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival on the 13th of August. James Hewison Executive Director of the 2006 festival had this to say about the film "An utterly distinctive uncompromising meditation on mortality and memory". On the Other Ocean screened with renowned Melbourne director James Clayden's latest work The Desealer.
